Guino is representative of his time and he captures the creative
reality of the artistic meaning which compels him to admit that
sculpture is the justification to one's own subjectivity. Refined but
resolute, his acute perception of aesthetics makes him very selective
in his themes. The purity of a curve is conceived in marble with a
clean cut. Patrick GUINO does not belong to any school, he is very much
on his own with his boldness of dimensions, his untimely choices, his
graceful conceptions, his aphorisms. His creative temperament is
inspired as much by the present time as by the future. |
